Poor bloke. It sounds like he's been living a nightmare for the last year. I wonder what the actual probability is for something like this happening, by the way. You'd think there would be a big pile of scrapped goalkeepers somewhere if this was a common occurrence. I can't really recall any other player who has been forced to retire after getting shot in the head. I've heard of gun shots to the face that have done less damage to people.
