Arsenal are small fry versus United.
In a season when United are back in the Europa League, they're still able to go out and get Zlatan, Mkhitaryan and possibly Pogba. Shows that money and ambition is all that matters in the transfer market. Unfortunately, we are a little bit short on both versus United.
Don't ever buy Turnip's bullshit about the importance of being in the Champions League, particularly now that shirt deals, kit sponsorships and TV money are all individually bigger than what you typically get from Champs League.
their spending power plus mourinho has made them a huge draw. if they still had lvg i doubt they'd have got zlatan or had a sniff of pogba. plus they're willing to pay a premium in transfer/agent fees and wages to compensate being out of the cl, to the point that even real arent even bothering to go head to head with them
i can only hope jose causes a mega meltdown at some point. ive seen people suggesting he's learned his lesson at chelsea, but imo a leopard doesn't change its spots, and to me his cockheadedness is both pathological and incurable
