Just kidding. He knows that we need a striker but he still doesn't accept that the market has evolved and prices have inflated.
He's been in denial since Ambramovich started the inflation over a decade ago, and AW & PHW said at the time that the club policy was not to pay what they considered to be unsustainable inflated market values for transfer fees or wages, and that they believed that the market would come back closer to the club's ideals.
Yet again another example of refusing to recognise the relevant impacts and forces contributing to make lasting changes on & off the pitch, just as his intuitive technical football needs a complete & balanced squad in order to succeed in the modern game of counter pressing and positional play.
