Borussia Dortmund have agreed to sign Barcelona centre-back Marc Bartra.

A statement from Barcelona's website said: "FC Barcelona wish Marc Bartra all the best in his new phase of his career as a player and he will be invited to say goodbye to the fans personally at the start of next season."

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has admitted Hatem Ben Arfa, who is out of contract at Nice, is "a priority" for the Ligue 1 runners-up.

"I don't know if we will manage to sign him but Hatem's agents were in Lyon today," said Aulas, who said a decision would be taken "at the end of next week."

Sunderland have made an £11m offer for West Ham striker Diafra Sakho, according to Sky sources.

Zlatan to Utd is pretty much a done deal. I not going to post a link as it will be announced in a few days.

Batra clause is retarded. They are one match away from making his clause 40m but let him leave for 8m

Eric Bailly to United. €40m.

@GuillemBalague

40m, jeez, looks like United are even more desperate than I thought.

No one in their right mind would pay anywhere near that for Bartra. 8m is perhaps a little on the low side, with 10-15m being a more fair evaluation, but Barca probably gave him more opportunity to leave as a La Masia graduate

Be interested to see if it is that high. Ballague has a bit of a habit of over-inflating figures when its English to Spanish and undervaluing when its vice versa.

Worth noting that he is Gabriel replacement. 40m is stupid but such a Mourinho mendes signing to earn comms

yup, they bought him from espanyol for 5m to replace gabriel and now looking to sell for 40m (shit anything over 20m is an awesome return). typical premier league over paying for a player though. it's why even with all this money "raiding" la liga we're still behind. until mid table premier league clubs are doing the buying from espanyol for 5m and then selling them on to the league's big dogs for 40m the league won't have the kind of quality it should for one so rich.

Good deal all round.

Big signing. Jose needs an "We're back" transfer.

Getting a top centreback and Zlatan will improve United massively

They still need a right winger and a CM.

Why would they need those if they have a good squad on top of having the dignified best manager of all time already?

To improve from good to great.

Bailly is a promising defender: good man marker, decent passing, good pace etc. I have seen him frustrate Ronaldo a few times but he's still raw(can switch off or do something daft)

RB Leipzig to sign Embolo (19) for €20m fee [kicker, germany]

Does anyone know much about Gabriel Jesus? Bayern and Juventus are heavily interested in him.

He's mega - the type of serious talent we never get involved with

Yep Jesus has mad skillz. He'd be a nailed-on starter for us.

Not sure if this should go here but Jurgen Klopp spotted next to Nicolas Higuain, brother/agent of Gonzalo Higuain, at Argentina match yesterday.

Given Napoli's cl qualification, Liverpool's lack of CL and probable inability to pay 72m don't see it happening so maybe his bother has other players as clients.

It's very unlikely. Where did the £72m come from?

That's his release clause. 91m Euros or thereabouts.

How are his crosses?

Don't think Matic has forgotten how Moron threw him under the bus just a few months ago.

Matic is only going to United if Conte doesn't want him.

Inter got acquired by a Chinese mega-consortium.

They have also made two signing in Turkey left back Caner Erkin from Fenerbahce and more notably, Ever Banega from Sevilla.

Borussia Dortmund have signed another teenage forward with a huge hype in Emre Mor.

Mor is a Danish-born Turkey international who started his career at Nordsjælland

Man City close to signing Aubameyang according to Di Marzio.

Why are we not in for him?

sky reporting it too

ill be massively pissed off if they get him while we're struggling to get jamie fucking vardy

If they have Aubama, Aguero and Bony (after dumping Dzeko), while we fumble with Giroud and Walcott, I'll be incensed. They spent 80m pounds on wide forwards last year. I wish we would just stretch ourselves for one signing. Just the one big splash.
