Wenger being finished has absolutely nothing to do with Dembele.

Enough times that you can see he is a top talent. Intelligent passing in both halfs of the pitch, pace to burn player and skill. He has scored a lot of goals but the state of GK in France is atrocious but still it is better than any other player of his age.

Why is he finished? Amongst other things because he can't even bring French talent here. That used to be a clear draw of Wenger and we can't even identify Ftench talents now let alone convince them to come here.

I still think there is something in Gabriel, he's on a longer contract than both Kosh and Per and he'll surely improve with more game time. Yes he's a bit erratic at times and a tad clumsy, but Koscielny was the exact same. I was calling for Koscielny to be sold a couple of months after we got him.

I still see a good player within  Gabriel, just needs to calm down and focus more.

Kos was dodgy for a few months, its been a year and half for Gabriel now and he hasn't sorted himself.

gabriel is weak and poor in the air. we need a mobile, physically strong CB. manolas really is a good shout

Brazilian defender Naldo will join Schalke on a free transfer from Bundesliga rivals Wolfsburg this summer. The 33-year-old has agreed a two-year contract with Schalke which runs until June 2018 with the option to extend.

Pool set to sign their 2nd player from the Bundesliga after Matip arrives on a free transfer, Karius. GK from Mainz.

£10m.

Wenger being finished has absolutely everything to do with everything.

everton asking for 65m for lukaku

nah blud

Could perhaps be negotiated down to 50-55, which seems about right to me. In this day and age I should add.

28m is still a ludicrous fee for Lukaku.

Everton need to realize that they're Everton and can't demand such fees. They were crazy to turn down 35m for Stones last summer.

The TV deal means that very few PL clubs have to sell their stars for financial reasons now. Naturally, if bigger clubs want to buy one of their stars, there is a premium to pay, and that premium has grown. 5 years ago, for instance, Everton wouldn't have been able to afford to say no to £35m for Stones or Lukaku. Likewise, they would not have been able to outright buy Lukaku from Chelsea either. Times have changed. A club like Everton can now decide it is worth more to them to keep players like Stones and Lukaku than to sell them even for a large fee. You need to up the fee considerably, I think, to get them to take notice and consider a transfer.

Personally think that Everton (or any other midtable club for that matter) would be stupid to turn down fees above £35m for any player. If they have a good scouting system in place, they can easily get 2-3 quality players for that money (ie. what Southampton or Leicester are doing).

Especially for a donkey like Lukaku. 35m+ gets you way bigger talents than him

The thing about players like Stones and Lukaku is they are young and are more likely to retain or increase their value so keeping them makes absolute sense.

Not when they want to leave.

I'd argue that top end young talents don't really gain much value (if at all) but they can certainly drop and more often than not, they do drop.
