Laporte looks the real deal but you never know.

So did Otamendi last season, even Mangala looked a lot better at Porto than he does now. Guardiola isn't known for improving his defenders but they can hardly get worse than they've been this year.
I think Otamendi has been pretty good this season all things considered. He struggled for a bit when he arrived and people seem to be a little slow to adjust those initial impressions of him. He did a carrying job for City's defence while Kompany was out though. I'd expect him to be back to his old level next season.
Mangala is one of the worst players I have seen though. He's so fucking shit it drives me mad. Someone needs to investigate what happened to the money from that transfer. I bet there was some shady stuff going on there.
Oh no, I'm sure there was nothing dodgy about a transfer involving Qataris, two hedge funds, and Jorge Mendes.
How shit has mangala looked? Only about as rubbish as sterling who can't get a game over barge pole Jesus navas.
Point for city is that they will continue to buy players and get it wrong but will find the de bruyne and aguerontypes often enough to make it worthwhile. We are still waiting for our 2006 signings to match up to their potential.
Rex really rated Mangala
Mangala was very good in Portugal, but for whatever reason he hasn't worked out at City.
Told you, you make it easy for us
Bild say Lepizig want Horn, Volland and Embolo.
I think a lot Citys player are going to look a lot better under Pep. Otamendi is a good player he'll improve next season.

Gwan.

It'll help that City will have 70% of the ball in every match.
Ricky, they'll need to change all their central midfielders to achieve that. Gundogan will be a start in that direction. Toure and all the Fernando derivatives will not be able to play keep ball for 70% of the time. Silva, De Bruyne and maybe Sterling is a start, but that team doesn't scream tikki takka.
Higuain linked to Chelsea in this morning's papers. Rumor goes on to say Diego Costa could go to China
If Higuain happens and we start with Giroud, I'll just quit watching.
Higuain is on 33 goals now in the league, highest goals total in Italy since the 1950s. Still in with a good chance for both Golden Boot where he's behind only Suรกrez and the Serie A record of 36 goals from the 1920s. If Chelsea get him I'll definitely break something.

Cheer up. There's always the possibility of us starting with Walcott or Welbeck instead next season.

Sorry dude that's not even funny.
If Higuain moves and goes to a PL rival, then when he plays at Emirates the AFC fans should chant at AW "You fucked up".
That's a fair wedge
has batshuayi stepped a level? i see quite a few clubs are linked to him.
i remember us being linked around the time we signed giroud
Never heard of him so i turned on trusty you tube and the first and only video i watched made me laugh when it described him as liking to do lay offs.
I only lasted up to the point when he kneed a cross in but that song is still going in my head.
He's Sturridge lite

Doesn't look as advanced technically to me. Similar poacher type play though
Yep. Lite...
Sounds like Ben Arfa is closing in on a move to Barcelona.
No chance in hell surely? Got to be a joke.
He's been terribly impressive in France this year playing the best football of his career. I can see why they're interested. It would be a shame to see him waste the few years he has left on being a bench warmer for Barcelona though.
He's a bit fucked in the head, but I wouldn't say no to him at Arsenal next season. We need more brilliant players. Sometimes that means you need to gamble on morons.
If he plays like he does this season he's a perfect squad player no matter how shit he was in England.
he'd score more in our team then welbeck so there's that at least
Talented but I wouldn't take a chance in him. Some players just can't cut it in England. Thauvin is another who stank it up over here
Not sure he'd out score Welbeck. Welbz actually scores a fair few
Ben Arfa might work out for them.
Or might turn out to be another Afellay
I would take him here. He is so talented and it's starting to look like he will fulfill the talent. He is probably the best player in Ligue 1 this season alongside Dembele and Di Maria.
To go from Hull to Barcelona in a span of a year is insane though.

Ibra's arguably been the pick of the bunch and will probably get the award.
I'd take Ibra. Ben Arfa had a really strong start and then leveled out a fair amount.
A month on the bench and Ben arfa will be 3 stone over weight
Ben Afra is the most maverick player you will ever see.
Ben Arfa is at the right sort of team for him, his game isn't cut out for a big club. Needs to be the main man where he can play in his Captain Tsubasa style, he'd need to be Messi to do that at a big club.

Yeah, he's fucking retarded. I remember reading that story about how he managed to let himself get seduced into some sort of mystic cult and he only dropped out when they wanted to make him kiss the boss priest's feet.
He sounds like a riot. Let's sign him.
Klaus wrote:Ibra's arguably been the pick of the bunch and will probably get the award.
Ibrahimoc was just awarded player of the year in France, as expected. He also said he'll announce his future whereabouts soon, before the Euros. He basically ruled out a return to Milan, saying they are 'a thing of the past'.
My gut feeling (based on zero pieces of information) is that he waits for Mourinho to be definitely announced as United manager, and if that doesn't happen he'll sign a new contract with PSG.
