Atlético are apparently negotiating with Villarreal over a transfer of Bakambu, for a couple weeks already too it seems. Vietto who flopped at Atlético might go back which would probably be best for all involved, always looked too skinny for a Simeone team plus he lacks the necessary stamina.
They already have Griezmann, Correa looks very likely to be a 20+ striker in another season or two and they're getting goals out of Torres yet they're looking to snap Bakambu up after he's shown half a season of promising form in Spain. Depressing when we've signed like two strikers in the last ten seasons.
