Taylor might be a hack but he at least genuinely was sorry for the tackle, seemed like a good bloke in the interviews I've seen with him. That's the most impressive thing about the goal in my opinion. Not just the outrageous quality of the finish but to have the cheek to even try that in the first place; it wasn't borne out of necessity but purely because he wanted to do it. It's something you rarely see in the game these days, guys like Neymar are a dying breed. Players have been streamlined and instructed to go on the pitch and be as effective and goal oriented as possible, in the 80s and 90s it was much more common to see players who found and displayed genuine joy in the game.
