Al Ahli manager Olaroiu has revealed that Manchester United have apparently failed to land Nicolás Gaitán because they offered a couple million too little (€30m instead of the clause of €35m). Good news because Gaitán is top quality, one of my favourite players when he's in form.
Not sure why they'd offer 30m but not 35m as he'd make a huge difference for them instead of garbage like Lingaard or Depay, they could even play Martial up front and drop Rooney finally if they had him. They are in very real danger of dropping out of Top 4, maybe their pockets aren't as bottomless as everyone seems to think?
