i'm disappointed that wenger missed his chance to beat that cunt in the league.

Can't say I care really. The fact that Mourinho only manages to keep a job for two years at a time before getting sacked is the chief reason we haven't beaten him in the league. We've beaten Chelsea plenty of times throughout the last decade, including the Community Shield earlier this year. José's just hiding behind statistics at this point.

Wenger winning the league while Mourinho mounts the worst title defence in the history of the sport would suit me just fine.

I think Wenger has more chance of becoming PSG manager than Mourinho.

It gives me immense satisfaction in believing that the Community Shield loss and the subsequent snub by Wenger contributed to his downfall. It was all downhill from there.

Maybe in the minority but every time I wanted to laugh I couldn't help remembering we still couldn't beat them in a season when everyone else could.

You lose the battle but win the war, invis. People who get caught up on these things give him more credit than he deserves.

True, hilarious how it's ended and getting sacked twice by the same club is a pretty special achievement. Wish it had gone on forever and ever though.

Everybody saw it coming and yet this news is still shocking. I can see him managing Milan soon if they sack Mijhalovic. It's funny how next summer we might see Mourinho, Pep, Ancelotti and even Loew being available.

Mourinho needs to go to a big club. He's a good manager for short term success with good players but he's shit at building anything.

Hahahahaha good riddance

worst news I've heard all week 🙁

now Chelsky might not be relegated

I'm surprised at how completely unmoved I am that Mou has been fired.
Sky Sports treated it like a football 9-11 😆
Pantomime stuff.
I guess it's been so obvious that he was on his last legs for weeks now that the fact that he's been sacked is hardly any great news.

Awful club, manky owner, here's hoping they don't persuade any one decent to manage them long term.

Wish he had stayed and taken chelsea down some more

Apparently from his last interview before getting sacked:

Mourinho: "I have to say it's a good experience, An experience that probably came too late, [it has] come after 15 years."
Mourinho: "This is an amazing learning process. About myself. About the players I think I know everything."
Mourinho: "About myself I still have some things to discover. And this period was for me. I'm better than I thought."

😆  😆  😆

Please, please, please let them get Brentan...

No confirmation on that I take it, although it seems quite likely.

Telegraph is like 99% certain they got Hiddink, but rumours in Italy says they want Juande Ramos

But that's all it is - rumors. Juande Ramos is a funny one though.

Don't understand why they wouldn't go for Rodgers as temporary manager. Seems like a win-win situation for both sides, they get a good manager that can play attacking football and apparently has good management according to Stevie Me and Rodgers can use the next 6 month to repair his reputation. Instead they are getting an absolute disaster like Hiddink.

The rumour about them possibly getting Lippi was at least interesting though, would have liked it to happen.
