Rb leipzig beat hamburg 4-0. Nice.
Bundesliga 16/17
How is the Scottish youngster they signed doing ?
Too early to give an accurate answer... Set up the winner vs Dortmund though.
Guerrerio for Dortmund is something else. Fantastic footballer who is superb in transition.

A few french journo's were insistent over the summer that Wenger 'likes' him, while there were rumors of R Rodgriguez. We all know Wenger does not seek a replacement till the current player is absolutely done for!
guerreiro was a big miss. i knew he was highly rated but i hadn't got a good look at him until the euros. he was one of the outstanding players for portugal imo
Leipzig winning.
wenger is a window shopper.

Yeah he's one who got away. Could have been our LB for years, but now he is Dortmund's best playmaker.
Tuchel has totally reinvented his game. He's been a revelation as a number 10.
Selke had such a dreadful game for Leipzig.. Got the chance he's been craving and was just far too excited whenever he had the ball. Subbed off for Poulsen.
1-1 currently.
Impressed with Timo Werner so far this season. That kid seems to have something.
Extreme speed is one thing.
Just saw the highlights of Hamburg vs Dortmund and boy, Djourou is absolutely awful. I can't recall seeing a worse defensive performance from an individual. He was making mistakes even 10 year olds wouldn't.
That commentary!
"Uwe Seeler is 80 and if he sees any more performances like this one, it might just do for him ...!"
Gnabry scores again.
Julian Nagelsman just coached his Hoffenheim team to a strong win vs Bayern Munich.
He is 29 years old.
I think Arsenal will be very interested in Nagelsmann; Korenke hired the youngest coach ever (31 years old) for his NFL team.
Hoffenheim are extremely well coached. Totally outplayed Bayern in the first half, cut through them time after time and were rarely threatened at the back. They pressed so well. Second half they were penned in but a lot of the legs went from their players. Still defended really impressively. Compact and organised, whilst still a threat on the break.
Nagelsmann is one to watch closely.

It was remarkable to watch. Been keeping an eye on him for a minute.
I would give your left nut to have Nagelsmann here next season Ricky. Would be a challenge as we have bigger names and characters, but he is young, enthusiastic, probably brimming with ideas, energetic, and obviously can infuse defensive and tactical discipline in his team. Exactly what we need! I believe they are 3rd in the Bundesliga? Remarkable stuff. Don't mind having us struggle for a season or two while he gets things together.
Why are you in the business of offering up other men's nuts, Flobaba?
My only concern with Nagelsmann is does he have the star power to bring in the Ozil, etc replacements we need to draw? This is still why I woul dfavor a bigger name like an Aleggri or a Simeone. I want someone who will scare the shit out of our current laers, and then attract a few super quality players.
