Niersbach resigns as president of the German FA "for political reasons". The prosecutor's office opened a case against him and his predecessor Zwanziger for "particularly severe case of tax evasion", a handwritten note from 2004 has proven that Niersbach knew of the embezzlement from day one.
I'm pleasantly surprised so far, shame though that Beckenbauer will get off scot-free. Just a few weeks ago Niersbach and his cronies gave Blatter and his mafia stick for being corrupt, now they are facing jail time.
Incredible win for Dortmund at Wolfsburg, Rodriguez converts a penalty in the 90+1 minute to make it 1-1 only for Kagawa to score at the end of a brilliant first time ball from Mkhitaryan to restore their lead two minutes later.
Would love Rodriguez here.

Good to see that the Bundesliga has become a 2 horse race again.
By the way, what an incredible recovery by Gladbach. If they didn't have that shit start they would be top right now.
Just tuned in to Dortmund-Bayern, some great stuff on show. Incredible save from the Dortmund keeper just now from a Vidal snap shot. Then a superb header from Reus to create a chance for Aubameyang.
Bayern look the more likely...
Guardiola 'coaching' one of his players on the pitch in front of the cameras right after the game. Glad that sad little attention whore won't be managing us next season. At least Wenger has some dignity in his madness.
Didn't realise Mikhitaryan has 20 goals and 24 assists this season. That's phenomenal.

He's unreal.

Thought that sounded off, according to Who Scored he has 10 goals and 10 assists in 26 Bundesliga appearances. And 1 goal and 4 assists in 9 Europa appearances. 4 goals in their Cup competition and it doesn't list the assists in that. Good going but not earth shattering.

I find him immensely annoying to watch, personally.
Same. He's much better this season from the little I've seen but he's one of those players who really gets on your nerves by being so damn predictable. His decision-making is poor too. He's a bit like Coutinho in the sense that I really don't think he's a good playmaker, yet he occupies that specific role on the field.
Not sure where they got their stats from but yeah.
Personally I don't think he is that good, especially in the bigger games as he has this annoying tendency to miss easy chance but score a difficult one. Just shocked by the stats and if true that's really impressive. He has been playing on the right all season long and it has helped him get forward easier.

Transfermarkt has 20 goals and 24 assists, Whoscored (fraud website anyway) apparently doesn't list the Europa League qualifiers.

I can understand Klaus' criticism of his in that he's sometimes a bit too direct to be a top class playmaker but he's on a completely different level to Coutinho, he pulls out some insane assists pretty regularly. Like Clrnc said Tuchel plays him exclusively on either wing this season and even though he still roams all over the pitch it has relieved him of the pressure he's been under in the last two seasons.
Fair enough, if it's counting the qualifiers.
The Bundesliga stats are the only ones I really care for, personally, and 10 and 10 in 26 games sounds about right to me for the player he is.
Sometimes I think it's pretty damning for us to scoff at someone of his quality when Ox after 4 season combined could barely match any of his stats.
Mkhitaryan has fantastic end product. Not elegant enough for the purists but his stats speak for themselves. His positioning is absolutely phenomenal and he is an incredibly hard worker too. Like a midfielders version of Thomas Müller.

I don't think he's great but he's obviously better than Ox in current form. Pretty sure all his detractors on here would agree as well
Mkhitaryan is an excellent player. He's a pacy player wide who really plays incisive passes.
Can play anywhere behind the forward.
Some other Bundesliga players impressing me-
Dahoud- Xhaka's partner. Great decision making and technical ability.
Julian Brandt- Awesome touch and looks like he's adding goals to his game.
Kramaric- For a forward he's got really good technique. Don't know why Leicester haven't given him a chance because he's been sensational for Hoffenheim. Leicester have got a good set of young players in him, Gray and Chilwell.
Thorgan Hazard- Plays quite a bit like his brother. Needs to add more goals. Gets a fair few assists.
Kagawa has been great all year but this goal
