If Wenger pencilled in Ramsey in as a right sided mid this season then I think it's fair enough, but it would make not signing a centre mid all the more criminal.

It's definitely true but we don't know the exact details. From what Wenger said in pre-match before United few weeks ago it seems like it's not his fault.

Not his fault? Jeebus, we could have signed Schneiderlin at any given point for about three years prior to last summer, and even last summer we could have signed him.

has schneiderlin even been a factor for united? hes basically a bench player now. would be fine for us now when everyones hurt but he went for like 25M didnt he?

It's all to do with need and manager madness level.
Coquelin would, probably, not even make their bench and their manager is completely insane.

He is not a bench player at Man U. He would have been proper competition for Coquelin, and we wouldn't have the need to have Flamini playing for us. I really don't understand why fans are looking at price tags either; Wenger didn't strengthen the squad last summer apart from Cech, and there is a ton of money to spend.

And Arteta's basically here for his badges/working on a coaching role. We could have easily accommodated Schneiderlin - OR we could get a proper right winger and use Ramsey as a squad player and still would have left enough gaps in the squad for younger players.

In the end, we did neither.

Swansea were good in August but their form has nosedived since then.
They've only won one of six and that was away to Villa last week.
They're good enough defensively at home though, might be tough to break down but if Sanchez, Özil, Caz and Giroud are firing on all cylinders we have the strength to do that.

I don't even see Campbell for Ox as a bad thing, I'm excited about it if anything. Ox has been in poor form and I don't think Joel will do any worse.

Theo is a big deal though.
