Yeah, I think so too. They're rumoured to be after Marquinhos from PSG. I hope they don't get him. His development has stalled a bit since he moved there but I can easily see him become one of the finest defenders of his generation. I don't think there are any other obvious names out there that would improve them massively though. Stones is good but flawed, for instance. And guys who are already world class have no reason to move to them because all of them are already at top clubs.

Plus they'll still be competing with City and United for any world class defender thats available. Without CL football, without Jose and without any real talismanic star what do Chelsea really have to offer? Its going to take a lot for them to get back to the top.
