I like the style of their video presentations as being something different.
That said I think they missed a point re promotion from within in that Barca are very much about consistency within their model and that Guardiola was a direct link with the Cruyff era of reform. Further to this he also had real success as manager with Barca B and the development of Messi & Co from within that system. Similarly whilst Enrique has also come from within I do not think his time in gestation from within was as long or as successful, and his time away was inconclusive. I also think that the other non PL examples perhaps came from a position of weakness and indecision at the clubs, rather than a clear extension of a proven model, and that there is no similar set ups at any PL club as yet, with perhaps Saints being closest although not yet in terms of internal development of managers.
Whilst there may not be any obvious candidates it would be wrong to say that those candidates do not exist - just that the club had decided to stick rather than twist so as to be able to approach those options before they committed elsewhere.
