No way should he be loaned out now, it's his time to show whether or not he has the mentality to cope with being a regular at a top club.
He's not covered himself in glory, he looks to be at a loss but he's got the chance to play his way through theses issues.

I'm not sure he'd accept being loaned out at this point, or playing for the U21's to find form. Where as following an injury those may have seemed suitable options he knows now the only way to push on is to show it on the pitch for Arsenal. There's an immense amount of talent there but something is well off.

I'd look to simplify things for him to give him a path back to form:

1) You're playing at RWF/LWF or not at all for the rest of the year
2) You'll be getting limited minutes so fucking run your ass off
2) If you're not defensively switched on you'll be immediately dropped

Dude needs a loan and we need a world class RW. But he shouldnt get a sniff now that we can have Alexis back. Means our front 3 will feature Theo + Alexis and Giroud.

1500 minutes, 3 goals 5 assists last season in all comps.

For a guy who plays almost exclusively in the forward line, he's just not doing the business.

I wonder if he's lost a little sharpness? He used to knock it past people and defy the odds to get to the ball first but he seems to be losing lit every time now. Don't know if it's down to a loss of speed or just poor execution. He needs a good performance against Sunderland otherwise he might not get many more chances once Sanchez is back.

Don't think he's quite as fast in practice as he thinks he is.

Everyone would've seen how he tried to burn Newcastle's defence a couple of times but they were able to match him.

He went past players with ease quite a few times against Bournemouth. But I don't see his performance mentioned anywhere, maybe because none of it resulted in a goal/assist.

He doesn't look as strong or fast as he did at the start of the season. Looks a little heavy to me as well.

He's having a shit season.

Last seasons stats are very good, especially for someone who barely starts.

The figures I quoted were out—Ox played more like 2000 minutes across all comps. He played about 1500 in the league, 23 appearances, for 1/1, so yeah, he's been useless in the league for ages.

But we know that anyway because we've had discussion after discussion about when his potential will finally be unlocked.

If a new signing played like Ox does he'd be regarded as a disaster. Everyone knows he's talented but he's got to deliver now.

I didn't criticize Gervinho much either. Chamberlain is a young reserve; maybe he will figure it out, maybe he won't but the way people are writing him off is laughable. Campbell on the other hand...

Are you saying Chamberlains stats are good for a non-starter, but Campbell's isn't?

Its pretty obvious that Campbell is currently quite a bit better than Ox. That debate is done for now.

If Campbell is a nothing player that must mean Ox isn't even a footballer. Campbell is blatantly better at everything, not really debatable imo.

Good shout re Gervinho qs, had the same thought yesterday. Gervinho at least always put in a great shift defensively, lost my patience with Chamberlain a good while ago. His career at Arsenal is pretty much dead in the water.
