I've only seen him play a few times, but he looks like an incredible talent to me. He would start for us on merit in no time. And best of all, he'd work with Ramsey centrally.

I've seen him a few times too and he seemed highly intelligent in his game, able to play both a reserved and more adventurous role. Was completely unfazed by the occasion against Chelsea or Benfica, if he takes the transition well he's easily good enough to play a role immediately.

Represented by Jorge Mendes though so about as likely as signing Messi

Jonesy, how'd you rate Johannes Geis? I know he just moved to Schalke in the summer, but should we be in for him if he's available?

He's taken the step up from Mainz very well and would certainly strengthen us, he's sort of like a mix of Coquelin and Arteta in that he has some of the strengths of either (in their prime). There are however loads of midfielders who I'd rather have to be honest, someone like Xhaka for example who'd transform our team is on completely different level compared to him in both talent and current performances.

I get the feeling people think I'm a basement dweller who has no hobbies aside from watching football 😆 I just don't spend my time following 20 TV shows or playing Fallout for ten hours a day like many others seem to do.

Get him. Loan, loan with an option to buy, permanent transfer, anything. Just get him in, so we don't have to play Flamini/Arteta.

Rabiot might just be our one hope of making a signing in January that makes a big difference to how the rest of the season goes.

Not that i'm too upset on missing out on M'vila but that's such bullshit, as if you can't get a club like fucking Rennes to sell a player.
