Personally, I think far less than half the forum watched that. I also think you misread how much most of us actually believe in these ITKs.
My opinion is that this summer was the best ever when it comes to ITKs. Thoroughly enjoyable.

I beg to differ! He is a good player when he is on it, but he is the most inconsistent player I can think of at the moment.

He's not shite at all, not too far off someone like Cabaye, I'd take him over Henderson too. Infinitely better than a clown like Milner who loads of folks seemed to want us to sign as a backup. 

That being said, I don't think he has the defensive qualities to play alongside Ramsey and he's not good enough going forward to play alongside Coquelin, so he'd be a bit pointless as a backup.

I think Shelvey is pretty good too. Streaky player, but he's got a higher ceiling than anyone Liverpool have playing for them. You can see it at Swansea - he likes picking out the space behind the defence.

He's a poor mans Vieira, but still only 23, maybe could improve at a big club.

Schalke know what he could be worth, they aren't going to sell him for cheap. They'll want the price for the finished article, specially after Martial went for 50mil. Similar to their handling of Draxler, after Bale they were demanding 40mil plus fee.
