I have no problems with Debuchy's attitude. He needs games to keep his chance of playing in the World Cup and he knows he won't get them here as Bellerin is twice the player he is. Wenger needs to sign a replacement if he lets him go though and I don't trust him to do that.

I have a problem with his attitude. I'm all for players wanting to be in their national teams but put in a bit of effort and try to earn it instead of just whinging in the press looking for a move.

Qs is right, Debuchy's attitude stinks. I don't mind that he's kicking up a fuss about not playing; that's exactly the kind of squad player you want. All these Kieran Gibbs types who are content on the bench should be shipped out before they bring the team down. What makes Debuchy so pathetic is that whenever he has been given a chance he has played like an absolute asshole, though. He has put in some disgusting performances this season. If he had any decency he'd be too ashamed to complain right now.

I really don't see the problem with getting rid of him in January. He's probably the fifth best rightback at the club at the moment, despite the fact that we only have two rightbacks. That should tell you everything you need to know. Bellerin is way ahead, and I reckon both Kos and Gabriel would do a better job out there too. And Coquelin has played that position plenty in the past. If someone would offer us half of what we paid for him I'd bite their hand off. He's easily one of Wenger's worst buys of all time. Fuck him.

I think thats a massive assumption on Gibbs. Just because you don't hear about it doesn't mean he isn't pushing for his place. I much prefer players who keep their heads down and work for it. Plus when we play Gibbs at least I can feel he is giving all he has. And he's a solid player, he's just been ousted by Monreal. Don't think we will find a better second choice left back. I think worrying about him bringing the team down is just weird.

Fair enough, I might be a bit hard on him. Gibbs has actually done pretty well this season despite being played all over the place, which is more than you can say about Debuchy.

He played pretty much the same as Debuchy did, couple of half decent performances and some beyond dreadful like at Wednesday.

Gibbs is pretty far down my list of things that need to be fixed anyway. Left back is an area where we are well sorted for at least another season or two. Plus he keeps up our number of English players and he's finally stopped breaking down every few weeks.

Against Tottenham and someone else I think, not sure who though to be honest. The point was more that Gibbs was at least equally shit and we should replace him asap, Monreal and Gibbs are like polar opposites in how one is natural on the ball and the other clearly feels uncomfortable with it, it'll affect our game severely if Monreal gets injured.

Gibbs being English has been his best attribute for a few seasons now and it pisses me off to be honest. If we can get another Englishman in his place great, Cresswell for West Ham looked a great player last season but his recent performances were mostly poor. If we can't find a good HG player for LB then just do a City and buy some no-mark player for the bench, why should we suffer because English youth is either extremely overpriced or plain shit?
