That goal was superb.

He looks more like a striker we'd never heard of than a £37m star
His last shot was scuffed, and rolled out for a throw in.
He's obviously missing his cheerleaders at Sky.

Freak.
12 out of those 8 were penalties.
Martial looks pretty much like Sanogo.
That's some fuzzy maths, Jones.
City have no width to their attack. Shit full backs.
Out of City 5 opening games in UCL, they have lost 3 of it and only won 1, against Viktoria Plzen.

Kolarov not playing?

He is.
English sides off to a flyer in Europe once again
£300m well spent by these two sides over the summer.
Cristiano now has the most penalties scored (11) in Champions League history.
The apprentice beats the master again. What a win for PSV and Philip Cocu. LVG still can't win at the Philips Stadion.
Good start to the Champions League by both Manchester clubs.

Does sum them up well, you must admit.
His goals are so not maradona is how someone else could describe them.
city are like 02-03 arsenal

kills me that some people let wenger off the hook with that woe is us, the financial power of those above us is immense nonsense. yes they have more money, but they don't know how to spend it to build truly powerhouse teams. if we found actual value in the marketplace and were tactically on point, we'd walk this overrated league.
Mike Smalling's voice doesn't fit his physical appearance at all.
Even worse than Tim Duncan.
Just seen the first Ronaldo penalty. What a fucking ridiculous decision. Srna blocked it with his back FFS.
Given by the fifth official
That has the be one of the worst hat tricks in history.
I'll take his hat trick over Walcott's hat trick of misses on weekend.
Speaking of threes, Sevilla won a trio of penalties in their game. In the second half. The defending was Conference quality
Gutted for Shaw. Hope he makes a speedy recovery and maybe is back in time for the Euros
Yeah unfortunate for the kid. Have to say though he looked like he was hitting his stride for United. Can only help us.
United were really poor again tonight, although the Shaw injury might have put them off their game a bit. Didn't look like equalising after going behind early in the second half and got even worse after they brought on Fellaini. Going to need to be really strong at Old Trafford if they want to qualify from their group.
Just saw the Morata goal. Weow.
The highlights vid for the Manc game has a graphic content warning. Yikes.
As bad as it is, it didn't look anywhere near as badly broken as what happened to Eduardo, Ramsey or Diaby who pretty much all looked like each half of their tibias were at right angles to each other. Might be the way he fell and the fact that the broken leg is on the ground afterwards that hid the real extent of the damage but with the others I had a sickening feeling seeing the pictures or videos. With this however, it doesn't look as graphic to me.
It's also higher up the leg so should have few complications
Such an impressive display from Juve. So much better tactically than English teams.
Pogba dominated Yaya Toure the entire match. Really surprised by that
Second half, probably, but not the entire game.
Juve played a very disciplined game designed to stifle city and it worked.
The back five and Mandjukic were their stand out performers for me.
No way was Pogba better than any one of them.
Clrnc wrote:Pogba dominated Yaya Toure the entire match. Really surprised by that
Toure is pretty easy to mark these days. He doesn't have the energy anymore.
Meanwhile, in the other game in our group...
What's that for? Idiotic police. Help me made up my mind not to go to the away game in Greece now.
What instigated that?
Probs linked to their shitty economic position
fecking stunner by that roma lad. goal of the tourney, nothing is topping it imo.

What can you make out from a 22 second clip?
How do you know those Jerries didn't deserve whacking?

...from watching the video and seeing cowering men being assaulted?
Cowering men being assaulted or hooligans getting a well deserved belting, we are none the wiser.
You can't see that they were begging the police to stop? They had no weapons and no threats, the police were fully protected and didn't stop for 20s.
If I'd caused trouble and was being hammered for it I'd still be begging them to stop too.
Some of you people just see what you want to see.

Still, they don't fight back. Surely police should only use violence to stop trouble, not to punish it?
