I thought they weren't too bad either. A bit toothless in attack, but played some lovely stuff at times. Certainly much better than what they've shown on average this season.

Chelsea played better than in either game last season.

PSG should definitely win this, the only thing that might let them down is their inability to defend set pieces.

seems to be a theme among their players. i was surprised to see he'd signed a 2 year extension. they don't look to have improved much under him

Great goal by Cavani, that sort of movement and finish reminds me of his Napoli form. Great assist by Di Maria too, to think United replaced him with Depay 😆

Chelsea edged the first but were battered after the break. Will happily take the result and go again in a fortnight.

Chelsea needs to attack at home though which should give PSG a bit more room to play. Two scenarios I can see here; Chelsea scores first and hangs on for dear life after that, or PSG scores first and runs away with it quite comfortably.

Only caught the last 20 minutes of the half in the Roma-R.Madrid game, but boy was it was dull.

That said, if Marcelo's volley had gone in it would have been one of the best goals I've seen.

Still a great chop inside to open up the shooting opportunity. Always amazed how much power he can generate without any real backlift. Even on the pass he played 10 minutes ago with his left too.
