Of course it's Enrique's doing. Who do Barcelona have as back up to Messi, Suarez and Neymar? No one of any real note. Turan has been a luxury signing who hasn't filled any major gaps. You can have the best players in the world but they need to rotated if you want to go deep in any competition. The warning signs were there when Messi and a couple of others got injured early on.

To be fair Turan has been a disappointment so far but then again he's much more of a midfielder than a forward in a 4-3-3.

It is really like they're managed by Wenger because they too would probably still be coasting to the title right now if they got Nolito in the winter ie got active on the transfer market. Where the comparison ends is you can expect them to spend silly money again next summer as they're already linked to a bunch of top players whereas Wenger dampens expectation of new players in early fucking April.

should've/could've played two out of the three each game for the past few me thinks. I really thought the broken rules for neymar and the ensuing trio partnership would be worth missing out on other transfers.

Also wonder how much it has to do with the passing of the 'old guard' in Puyol and Xavi. I know Puyol's been out of the picture for a while but it's well reported that Xavi played a big role is regrouping the side last year and getting Enrique and Messi to play nice. By comparison, the likes of Pique, Alves and co behave like children.

Iniesta and Messi are the nominal leaders in the team but they aren't the ones to sort team dynamics out.

So Barca become knackered 2 weeks after we played them. We could have knocked them out in the second leg as well. If only. Another wasted opportunity.

Schadenfreude with Chelsea, Barca and United is the only thing that I'm looking forward to for the rest of this season. If they all end it trophyless then there should be plenty of games left to enjoy.

Barcelona have no money with most of their funds going towards the new huge contracts for MSN.

Like somebody said above the Turan money could've been used for a capable backup to MSN.

Looks like he'll be sold in the summer to make way for one. Some papers say Gameiro which will be a waste of his career IMO.
