Toure is fair enough, he's a brilliant player still.

Top 12 for a player that doesn't look bothered for half a season?

To be fair to him you can't criticise him for performing poorly when the club forgot his birthday.

You've Modric in your list, Yaya is better than him.

Nice, I wondered when this thread would turn into a shit slinging fest 😆

You've got Bale in your list. I'm better than him.

Bale should come back to the prem for Arsenal, would rip the league a new one.

Think Pique should have been in more teams. Best defender in the world atm.

In absolute terms Yaya is the best player in the country. The question wasn't "name the 12 most consistent players over the last year".

What does that even mean?

In absolute terms, Ronaldinho is arguably the best player of the past two decades. IMO consistency is the hardest aspect for any footballer to master, and that's what separates the talented players from the best.

Although Toure is always unplayable and a match winner at his peak, I feel players like Modric or Busquets are much more important. Particularly in the CL.

Its very hard to compare the consistency of a player in La Liga to a player in the Premiership due to the levels of competitiveness week in week out in both leagues.

It means when he can be arsed hes the best player in the country. Prior to last season he had been quality week in week out for the best team in the premier league over a number of years. Last year i dont think was s fair reflection on his ability, more thay City were a bit of a mess.
