Yeah, I still need to round out Rectify. I don't really know why I didn't watch the final season, as I think it's one of the most subtly brilliant shows I've seen. Some of the things they achieved with the writing on Rectify you see other shows fail at horribly—Mr Robot is a good example.

Recently binged the first season of Glow, guess it was ok, nothing to write home about.

I've watched a bit of Riverdale too, it's extremely similar to Veronica Mars—a good thing in my book. Decent show.

I think it's really, really bad. It started out well enough but man did it turn into a parody of itself quickly.

Hmm, bit of a shame. I was sort of hoping for a hybrid of Veronica Mars and Twin Peaks that got twistier, guess not.

I was hoping for the same thing, but it turns into this horrible Cole Sprouse vehicle instead where you almost feel that it would be a half-decent parody on better CW shows, and young adult culture in general, if it really was intended as such.

the trailer for the netflix reboot of lost in space looks great. toby stephens was massively underrated for his performance as flint in black sails, so him being the lead has got me intrigued

Have you watched OJ: Made in America yet? It should be next on your list after PvsOJ if you haven't.

If you could have a favourite book series be made into TV what would it be? I'd quite like Julian May's Saga of the Exiles and follow up series.

The LA Confidential series by James Ellroy would be fun too.

CBS are developing a LA Confidential tv show I think!

I'd like to see The Long Ships as a tv show, but it would cost a lot to make and I don't really trust anyone other than HBO to pull it off.

Oh cool. There is some seriously fucked up shit in the books, so it would be interesting to see how it translates. Mind you, nearly anything goes these days. I'm still getting over the Blood Eagle in Vikings.

Just looked up The Long Ships too - I'll have to have a read.

Underworld USA would be better, been saying this for years. That would be the "secret history of the US" series to end all—though I think the completely bonkers content of books like The Cold Six Thousand would be unpalatable even for HBO audiences.

I must admit that I couldn't finish the series. It got too dense for me. Same with Perfidia.

I finished season 1 of ‘Atlanta’. It’s refreshing and fun. I’d recommend it. Given it’s short ep’s it’s also an easy binge.

Started Westworld. Amazing!!

I love Atlanta. Haven't watched all the way to the end of season 1 yet, but I especially like the episodes that function as short films in themselves. Ep 6, directed by Glover, is just excellent filmmaking by any standard.

Full Frontal has to be one of the funniest and most underrated shows on tv anywhere.

I used to like her on the Daily Show but her own show is incredibly unfunny to me.
