It's amazing how those two episodes are essentially the same concept yet told in an immersively different way. Smashin series this. Haven't started episode two yet though. Have to be in the right mood with Black Mirror. Watching it when worried / depressed / exasperated is not the best idea.

Yes, it's pretty enjoyable to watch. Getting fed up of waiting the whole year for new seasons and barely remembering the characters and storylines, especially with The Americans. But Peaky blinders S4 is a fun watch.

I'm really glad Charlie Brooker is getting some well deserved recognition, he's been on my radar when he was just a TV and video game critic and he's always produced high quality work.

I've been watching some more Black Mirror episodes and it really is great. I've mostly watched episodes I've heard are good, so I assume there'll be some bad ones as well.

Also, kind of weird that Kaluuya didn't get a proper role until Get Out after that performance in the talent show episode.

yep. it lives and dies on the strength of the 2 main leads, who are thankfully both great

watched USS Callister and Hang the DJ on Black Mirror. Both were really good

Nearly finished it now, it’s been a great watch. Surprised it doesn’t get more coverage.

What hasn’t been great is ST😃iscovery. No idea why I’m still watching, it’s been a massive drag watching an episode.

There aren't any bad ones, just not great ones. There are also some that have divided opinions like the final episode of S3.

Each episode is stand alone so it's worth checking out a few others before writing it off. It's similar to the Twilight Zone which is why people like it

I've watched 5 of the 6 episodes in s4 of Black Mirror and I think one was really good (Hang the DJ), one was good for the first 2 acts (USS Caillister), a common Black Mirror issue IMO and the other 3 were all pretty uninspiring.

I thought Black Museum was really good as well, but maybe that's the one you haven't seen. Agree about the rest.

Finally a trailer and a date for Ash vs Evil Dead. The new season looks glorious:

If it's as good as season 2 the show is going to go down as one of the best things on tv in recent memory.
