Homeland seems to have dropped a level. Especially the last couple of episodes-a lot of over the top scenes, as if lifted off house of cards. Still overall pretty good watch.
I gave up on Homeland after Damien Lewis exited the show, he was about the only good thing about it, the rest of it was cliched, a little cringe to downright annoying.

Yes, everything about her was great.
TWD finale was a let down, no tension, a little too predictable, awful music, crappy dialogue and not even any shock factor.
You seem to have the opposite reaction of everyone else on the internet. Most people I see thought it was a good episode in a shit season. I tend to agree with that mostly.
😆
I loved last seasons finale too yet I remember most people complaining.
It was a pretty shit finale in a very shit season
i really didnt think the prison break revival would be anything other than lame, but i kinda dug the first episode
oh and black sails will go down as one my favourie shows. the series finale was perfect and sets up a very refreshing take on treasure island, should they ever pursue it
I'm enjoying Line of Duty being back on BBC. I don't think this series is going to be as good as the last three but it's still gripping and exciting.
Don Rickles has died. RIP
I'm looking for a netflix series to watch - needs to be suitable to watch with my 16 yo daughter. Someone recommended The OA. Any of you lot seen it, and if so, is it worth watching?
Riverdale. 🙂
The get down is brilliant, season 2 is coming out soon as well so you'll have plenty of episodes
Iron Fist is under researched, badly scripted yet well plotted with some good character building. The protagonist is an awful actor. Not sure they achieved what they wanted to do with this.
Every time I think about how crappy Iron Fist is I'm grateful for how good Into The Badlands turned out to be. It has some proper fight choreography, enhanced by the fact that Daniel Wu has been training wushu for over 30 years. He's one of the best lead actors on tv right now.

Any particular genre Daz? My daughter loved Jessica Jones when she was 17. She also likes The Good Wife, The West Wing, Broadchurch, Mozart in the Jungle (that's on Stan). Suits is also fun, although I stopped somewhere in season 3.
The OA is terrible. (OK, I'm exaggerating, but really the ending spoils everything).
Haven't heard much about the Twin Peaks revival for a while.
Turns out it's due to have a premiere double episode on Showtime on May 21, and run weekly over sixteen more weeks.
Wonder if it'll be any good? The signs seem to be not too bad.

Nothing specific...she's a bit random when it comes to shows, though doesn't really get into slower, more story driven shows. She would probanly like Jessica Jones but I generally don't like superhero movies/shows. Actually Broadchurch might be a decent shout but is it on Netflix?
