Its not like most TV. Its more like a play staged and shot for TV, like BBC 2 used to about 15 years ago. Its excellent though and has some of the best acting I've ever seen. Easily the best acting I've ever seen from Buscemi. Its quite different but its also truly brilliant.

I don't know a lot about the far south but I don't think it's too far off. Good series, though Elisabeth Moss's accent is pretty awful. I believe there's a 2nd series coming.

So.. The Americans didn't get any Emmys, Fargo only got two and Game of Thrones got twelve? 😆 That's fucked up. I can understand regular people being blinded by dragons, nudity and main characters dying, but I thought The Academy of Television Arts and Science (whoever they are) were a bit more professional.

I take it you don't usually follow the Emmys then. They are always fairly shit. This year's actually not bad compared to a lot of years.

Yeah that was nonsense. There is always some show that gets a load of awards it doesn't deserve though. Modern Family dominated the comedy awards for years. Glad thats over.

Thanks. It reminded me of Winters Bone the movie. I thought Moss was the weakest cast member. Can't really act IMO. The new series is out next year, though i doubt i would be interested. I found S1 to be average.

Finished the get down on Netflix last night. I fully expected to hate it but was fantastic! Wonderfully shot, banging sound track, and there's a host of cool characters. Jaden Smith is even pretty good in it.

I liked it a lot but found Jaden Smith to be the weakest of all the guys in the group. Justin Smith was great as the lead though and Kevin Corrigan sort of stole the show or at the very least saved the Mylene storyline.
