Just use your judgement and be sensible, we've got a pretty good balance going on in here.

I would say though that reader discretion is advised, references to particular scenes or episodes are bound to become a little less vague as a show gets older, so if you haven't watched it skip over the post if you're particularity put off by spoilers, however vague they may be.

Some posts are too short to stop reading and without reference though, for example "they shouldn't have killed off Kate Mara's character".

As for spoilers if a show ended a year ago its up to you to avoid spoilers. People are usually pretty good for current stuff. In the past we have only been really strict on GOT in here cos it has its own thread.

The first episode of The Night Manager was great. Tom Hiddleston is fantastic. I've read the book ages ago and can't really remember any of it, which is lucky as I get to enjoy the suspense all over again. Le Carre himself wrote a great piece about the TV series. Season two of Daredevil was better than the first. Gone are the pacing issues and weak last third.

I don't know if agree about the pacing issue. I'm about half way through and I feel after a good start its plodding again. Elektra so far is terrible.

I watched season two while off sick and I think the show's lost it.

It's got a main character problem, a supporting character problem, an antagonist problem … pretty much the only thing going for it is Deborah Ann Woll. Way too many fucking ninjas as well. Punisher was pretty good but actually left the show's premise really exposed.

Wow, Deborah Ann Woll is the only positive? Completely opposite for me. Nothing wrong with her acting, but her arcs are repetitive and not very interesting.

I can understand that you thought season 1 was better as it's become more superhero-y now. I think season 2 is better because it has way more content. Season 1 basically used a video game structure where everything was building up to a boss fight, and while that's okay for a first season, it would be lame to continue like that.

thought daredevil season 2 was good, but felt a bit uneven. the gritty street level tone jars a bit when the mystical elements come to the fore.

Elektra's story line was terrible, but I quite liked the character and Elodie Yung(hnnng)'s acting, even though it was nothing like the one Miller created.

Also, season 2 is setting up for season 3. There were too many plot holes/unexplained bits, which makes it quite obvious they'll develop it in the next season.

I don't really like the actress, her accent is all over the place and she is a bit too OTT for the show, she seems like she'd be better on a network superhero show where the tone is more camp. I've still got a few episodes left though so maybe the character will improve.

It goes downhill, the season. The ending is quite terrible, so don't have any high hopes.

The People vs OJ is brilliant. Started a bit campy (though very enjoyable) but its been really excellent since. The case is mental, never knew most of the details, its insane.
