Coombs — start of season 2 really struggled but I thought the back half was excellent.
A few really powerful episodes.
MistaT yeah I watched season 1 a few weeks back. it reminded me of uncut gems in the way it induces anxiety in the viewer. will definitely be checking out season 2
MistaT Just came in this thread to see if there was any The Bear chat. Really enjoyed it. S2 not available on Disney+ yet but looking forward to that. Good music throughout too.
Started watching Unchained on Netflix - the Drive to Survive version of the Tour de France. It's brilliant so far - really shows how fast and insane and fit these guys are.
I've enjoyed Break Point, the tennis one. Keen to watch the golf one next.
Justified: City Primeval hasn't disappointed me so far.
However, of the new side characters, only the villain sticks out as potentially memorable.
QuincyAbeyie gonna end up getting Disney+ just so I can watch this. I loved Justified.
QuincyAbeyie finally started watching this this week. Am so impressed with how the show still feels like Justified despite only Tim Olyphant returning as Raylan. Two episodes in and have loved every second so far.
MistaT Anyone watch The Bear?
Three episodes in on season 1 - really enjoying it so far.
Got a free trial for Apple TV so have finally got around to binging Ted Lasso. Not sure it was the funniest show I've seen but really enjoyed it. Have just started Hijack, also on Apple. First 3 episodes have been edge of the seat stuff and it's only 7 episodes in total so worth a watch if looking for something new to watch.
invisibleman18 I checked out the 1st ep of hijack to see it would hook me. it's kind of schlocky, but there's enough there for me to kick on with it
Just finished watching "Mr Inbetween"; what a bloody awesome little Aussie gem.
USArsenal yeah, we're being propelled towards the end of the third season now and absolutely love it. Cracking storylines and often told with some real wit.
Just started watching S2 of Foundation. I have to say it took me a long time to remember and piece together what happened in S1. Did anyone else find that? Anyway just finished episode 2 and I have to say I think it's great.
goon I'm going to start that soon. I think I will have the same issues. S1 was quite dense. There's bound to be a refresher on YouTube somewhere.
Have just binged Jury Duty and loved it. They did really well with the casting. Must have been an intense 3 weeks for the producers and actors.
Just finished Hijack on Apple TV. Found it edged of the seat stuff the whole way through so worth a watch.
Top Boy last season is incredible 👏
Sicario2 totally binged it. Felt nervous about so many characters’s fates throughout. Tense and fast paced. Great
Heavenly Delusion / Tengoku Daimakyo on Disney+ is a solid bingewatch post-apocalypse mystery anime, though a little bit let down in some moments by smutty anime crap.
Foundation S2 was excellent for the most part.
Gazza M Started watching this and so far I agree. I'm already looking forward to reading about it after I've finished. The thought that only one actor breaking character one time could derail the entire show is mad to me. At least they're given opportunities to laugh because that's the natural reaction in many of those situations.
