I love Lalo, think his fates pretty much sealed given what he's discovered and what Gus has already done. Given we know Gus survives that one seems quite obvious, maybe they'll throw us a curve ball.

I quite like Clifford too, Ed Begley does a good of making him amusingly clueless.

He is so charming and at the same time one of the most menacing characters I've ever seen on my television screen 😆 By far the best of all the cartel characters in the universe. I think his fate is sealed as well, Gus taunts Hector that the Salamanca name will die with him after Jesse shoots that random grunt in Mexico, who was apparently Hector's grandson, in Breaking Bad. I'm still really intrigued to see how it all goes down though, because Jimmy doesn't seem to think Lalo is dead when Walt and Jesse kidnap him, and he's, understandably so, still fucking terrified at the thought of him.

I think he dies in the underground lab but we'll see. Then who knows how Gus disposes of him.

I do enjoy the fact we know Hector gets the last laugh on Gus. It makes every Gus victory a little more palatable.

I'm very fond of Clifford too. Ed Begley's gotta be one of the most underrated comedy actors around. One of few people who can sell me on a movie just by being in it. Amusing cluelessness describes him perfectly, and he hasn't lost that quality despite getting older.

Agree on Lalo too, he's an absolute riot. Tony Dalton and Rhea Seehorn have to be the two best actors not previously known to come out of this show. They both deserve big careers.

Standouts for sure, along with Patrick Fabian though may be it was just me that didn't know much about him before.

Watched the mid season finale of Better Call Saul earlier, knew something bad was going to happen, wasn't expecting that. Holy fuckballs.

Completely agree with earlier comments about Rhea Seehorn, Tony Dalton, Ed Begley Jr and Patrick Fabian - all unknown, all excellent. Can't wait to see how it all resolves.

Ozark really overdid it in their last season, went overboard with pretty much everything. Think I said it before but I really, really dislike their kids 😆 especially Jonah that little rat turd, kinda face only a mother would love too so well cast at least. Too many deaths in general

[spoiler]especially the way some of those killings happened. The head of the KC Mob enters Darlene's house and gets shot within seconds ffs[/spoiler]

BCS on the other hand shapes up brilliantly. I was ecstatic when it was announced but never in a million years would I have expected it to become a show that a) becomes far better than BB, b) a much more serious show and c) Saul/Odenkirk become almost a sidenote next to all these great characters and actors. Best sequel ever

The success of BCS is really impressive.

So many series hit high marks in their first few seasons as the viewer enjoys the world building, character development, etc. Not easy to replicate that in a sequel, and BCS found the right balance of continuing to lean into a great character and showing a slightly different view of their environment.

But is it a sequel or a prequel?

Good point, bit of both but more prequel of course. Meant just generally a show or film that was released after another one.

I’ve not finished yet, think I’m about half way through, but they’ve definitely gone way OTT with Wendy. I’m sure they’re going somewhere with that but where ever it ends up I don’t believe her arc.

The Boys might be one of the craziest shows I've ever seen. The scene at the start of the new season with the ant-man like character was something else. And I'm not even sure that was the most fucked up thing to happen in the first 3 episodes.

I wonder if that was from the comics or made up for the show? Around when Infinity War was out there was a running gag that this exact way was how they should defeat Thanos.

Not seen it but I’ve read people say it’s put them off the show and that they're not even bothering with a proper plot anymore, but im hoping they’re just being overly sensitive.

Finished Ozarks. Personally thought it was a really unsatisfying ending. I get what they were trying to do and I like the concept, but the execution was all off. The character arcs in particular were all over the place.

They really should have killed off Jonah the moment it because clear this kid has about as much acting skills and charisma as a corpse. Genuinely might be the worst line delivery I’ve ever seen - no wonder they have about a 3 word maximum per scene for his dialogue.

😆 good to see I'm not the only one with a serious dislike for the kid. They already gave him a leg up by handing him a semi retarded role and all of his role acting lines etc all trash.

Compare him to Walt's son in BB where the kid actor is actually disabled and has a shit role to shine in, leagues between them as actors

I think they cast him to be a mini Marty, a sort of soulless character with no real personality. It probably would have worked well enough if they stuck with that.

Started watching Season 4 of Stranger Things right after, dozens on better child actors in there. The worst of them (probably Will) is still streets ahead of both the kids in Ozark.
