Not individual big movies I think, but Claude raises an interesting question. There are laws and regulations determining the size and form of corporations for a number of reasons, one of them being to prevent monopoly situations, but there are also things like preventing price fixing, conspiracy to boycott, etc. That's why it was so controversial when regulators allowed Disney to buy 21st Century Fox the other year.
Internationally, ill-regulated American companies can run into problems too. You've noticed I'm sure how Amazon still haven't opened in Scandinavia for instance, and we still can't sign up for Prime because of it. China are in a feud with Visa and Mastercard right now because the Chinese don't like how those two hold 90 percent of the international debit card market. With the way Disney are going you have to think there's going to be a serious dialogue about them soon, not least in Europe.
