I get what you're saying though, I'm not really into a lot of TV right now either. I watch more movies or play on the PS4 nowadays. Shows like Better Call Saul and Legion are great, but I tend to put on an easily digestible binge like Sabrina, Daredevil or some comedy.
I'm playing more PS4 too, and most TV is losing out. I finished Sabrina yesterday, when it was good it was very good but the middle slumped a lot.
From your list above Sopranos, The Wire, Rectify, Thick of It and The Shield are legit great. Louie is good at times, boring at others and I'd imagine like his stand up harder to stomach now.
