Just finished Jessica Jones. Very un-Marvel-like, which is a positive for this series. Clearly the darkest thing coming out of Marvel, and probably better than Daredevil. Might be too slow for some, but I enjoyed it. The TV format is so much better for creating good villains than the movie format, and David Tennant is brilliant in this. Krysten Ritter is great too, which is something I never thought I'd say when watching Breaking Bad.

Jessica Jones seems like something I'd like. Will check out.
Think I'm going to give up on Flash. Wasn't sold on the first season, and so far season two is pretty crappy too. Bit disappointed with Agents of SHIELD too actually.

Flash is the best of the super hero shows IMO.

I think Flash is much better than Arrow and Gotham, haven't seen Super Girl. Both DD, JJ and Agents are comfortably better though.

i've stopped watching arrow. they peaked with season 2. couldn't get into flash, and i keep hearing about time travelling elements and paradoxes which is a death knell to most shows for me, so i don't think i'll bother.

the marvel netflix shows are good

You mean like Daredevil? I watched one or two episodes and dropped it, didn't grip me at all.

Yeah DD might be better. Only watched the first JJ so far. Agents isnt as good as Flash IMO.

Might be an unfair comparison from my part, the first season of Flash was certainly much better than the first season of Agents.

Yeah Flash is awesome. Still like Arrow but season 2 was one of the beast seasons of anything I've seen so it's never going to match that.

All the characters in Flash lack depth IMO. What also pisses me off is that a guy who is fast enough to pluck bullets out of the air keeps getting hit by punches, and that ridiculous freeze gun that Captain Cold has.

That is my major problem with the show. Every time he's stopped, it's because he runs towards the enemy and then for some reason just stops doing thing at super speed. And what exactly does the freeze gun do better than a normal gun?

Also they just ignore the fact that Captain Cold's sister has a gun that turns thing to gold, yet they keep robbing banks. 😆

Compared to what though? I mean if we're talking Mad Men or Rectify then yeah but if we're talking other genre shows then not really.

I think Matt Murdoch is a really good, layered character, and so was the villain of season one, Wilson Fisk. I suppose I also prefer the noir feeling to Daredevil as opposed to the more chirpy, nerdy tone of Flash.

D'Onofrio made Daredevil much more worthwhile than it might otherwise have been. Charlie Cox as Murdoch is honestly quite dull.

I'm now four eps into Jessica Jones and not yet feeling the same about Tennant's Kilgrave, but I've heard they do go to some lengths with his characterisation in the later episodes.
