I watched some Electric Dreams which seems to be its Amazon equivalent. Good production value, some decent actors even (Cranston stars and produced) but not for every day. Definite focus on digital consciousness there too.

Any indians or if anyone interested in India themed shows , you can check out Sacred Games on netflix. Narcos style. Cop-gangster-politician-terrorism thriller.
Not the director's best work but highly watchable. Even a half well-made story would be hugely interesting due to the immeasurable material and layers in the country.

The Mrs would probably be well into that, might recommend it to her.

AD Season 4 remix is so much better, don't feel the lack of interaction between the main characters anywhere near as much. Looking forward to season 5 now. Shame George Bluth turned out to be a dick in real life.

Who is America is a bit meh. The end was quite funny and a bit horrible but a lot of it was just boring. Its going to absolutely adored by the internet though.

Sacha Baron Cohen's "KinderGuardians" Gun Stunt Is Almost Too Bleak to Believe

It was pretty damn jaw dropping.
That Pratt guy is a disgusting piece of work.

an actual lobbyist, Larry Pratt, who not only laughs along to rape jokes on camera (believing the footage wouldn't be used) but also agrees to give Cohen-as-Morrad a list of lawmakers who he believes will be supportive of the absurd KinderGuardians plan. It's a quietly stunning moment, the tacit admission that there's a group of officials that are expected to be sympathetic to any argument, no matter how absurd, as long as it involves putting guns in the hands of people.

The rest of the segment is what Who Is America? became notorious for before it even premiered, a parade of lawmakers who are more than happy to read along to prompts that endorse the unconscionable, like the empty opportunistic husks they are.
Ironically, it's Matt Gaetz, a Trump-endorsed junior congressman from Florida and a conspiracy theory-shilling hackwho is unafraid to defend sexual abusers, who is Cohen's ace in the hole.
Gaetz, a man who demonstrably is not above peddling depraved absurdity for political gain, is the only subject that meets Cohen with the level of skepticism that a human being ought to have for anyone who wants to give toddlers guns, and therefore denies his Republican colleagues the absolution they seek in their pre-emptive statements about how they were tricked by Sacha Baron Cohen, peddler of fake news and deceiver of honest American people. The truth is far more damning, and it's there for all of us to see.

Anyway it’s decent entertainment like you say but I wasn’t able to stick with it. They sometimes dive in to explore some somewhat sensitive issues facing the modern black family, but at the same time it’s supposed to be a light hearted (family?) series. It’s hard to toe that line admittedly - I just don’t think blackish does a particularly good job at it.

Thought it was excellent. It beggars belief how he always manages to bring the worst out of people.

Aside from the Bernie interview (although his facial expression at the end is priceless) and the dolphin cuckolding joke, I found it hilarious.

I was a big fan of Da Ali G show and this promises to be just as good.

He got nothing from Bernie or the republican couple. And the ex con bit was really dull and unfunny. As I said the gun lobby stuff was good, especially the bit with your man just naming rappers, but overall it was a bit meh. Cohen is a bit of a one trick pony. I'm sure there will be more good bits but I expect to wade through a lot of shite to get to it.

they're spinning their wheels now that they're 4 seasons deep. and the spin-off with the daughter at college is pretty bad.

those early season were great though, even though the "message" moments could be a bit like

I thought the message moments were better in the first couple of series too. Got even more heavy handed then and the last season was just bad, especially the rubbish they tried at the end.

Just watched Hannah Gadsby's show "Nanette" on Netflix. That is one amazing show. Very funny and pretty bloody confronting and powerful.

It's very humane, isn't it? I watched it quite a while back, and have been really pleased to see that it's gone viral and become a worldwide phenomenon since it hit Netflix.

Yeah it really is. I honestly don't think I've ever seen anything like it in comedy. Must have taken so much courage to do that (and keep performing it). It's bloody brilliant and a must-watch for anyone.
