Watched 4 episodes of Occupied on the weekend. It's a Norwegian show. The premise is that a few years from now the Norwegian government stops all oil and gas production. The EU and Russia don't take kindly to that and the Russians turn up to ensure that production resumes. The drama follows a few central characters - the PM, his bodyguard, a journalist and his wife. The Russian ambassador becomes important too.
It's a very good drama that draws some obvious WW2 parallels regarding occupation and how citizens respond to it, but in a modern, and much more subtle, context, because Norway hasn't been invaded militarily, but the Russians are definitely calling some of the shots.
