This is what I would play. Giroud only on the bench, he is not fully fit.

Santi on the wing would be a nightmare. I don't think he should be starting anywhere other than as the furthest midfielder against Chelsea (ie if Ozil was unfit or was played on the wing or something).

not too fussed about the charity shield.. if we win, great.. would be nice to see Cech win it v. his old club..

BUT... we handily won it last season and had an absolute horrendous start of the season, so really doesnt mean a whole lot. for momentum sake, sure.. (and to fuck Maureen off, sure)..

It'll be nice to not have to hear about Wenger never beating Mourinho next time we face them in the league. It's getting a little old.

Yeah it's not so much about winning the trophy as much it is about getting a monkey off our back and having a positive winning mentality around the team.

Let's not forget that City started with like 4 first team players, while we had 7 or 8.
