Thing about starting Walcott up front is that we'll then play AOC and Wilshere on the wings, both of whom aren't exactly first team players. I'm all for trying Walcott up front with Sanchez supporting him but atm we might have to take the bullet with Giroud and let Walcott play his regular game from the right wing. He's been effective against Chelsea from there.

doesnt sound too serious to me, sounds like doom & gloom journalism for something that (on the surface) sounds like a minor thing.. "major injury scare" sounds sensationalist to me.. if he misses the first 3 or 4 weeks, then ok, lets start getting worried

I actually think this is what we'll see, but potentially Bellerin instead of Debuchy.. otherwise, i expect this lineup.. could be way off though

Oh actually, Bellerin over Debuchy for me until Debuchy does something to justify a place.

It doesn't sound serious but it's a doubt none the less which is not what you want to be hearing about Jack Wilshere (given his track-record with injuries) as we are just about to start the season..

He missed last week's Emirates Cup game as well.

Aside from Sanchez, I honestly don't have faith in the rest of our players to complete 40+ games in a season.

Hope Ox plays. He is waiting to explode and a top performance against a big team can be the trigger. Sad for Wilshere as he has the dynamism and unpredictability which could have hurt Chelsea oafs.

Ramsey will play or right or left, I'm guessing. Cazorla is just too useful a player for Wenger to bench him. Also, with Walcott starting in the middle (Giroud dropped) and Sanchez, Welbeck, Wilshere not available, the player selection becomes automatic.
