He's unbelievable on the ball to be fair, but he cannot defend like he does and cut it at a top team. Needs to grow up and improve his concentration. Switches off far too often.
Depay reminds me so much of Chamberlain. Can do most things you'd want a wide player to be able to do but doesn't have the wherewithal to put it all together. Poor decisions over and over again.

It's a slip by Stones but that's because he tried a quick change of direction to dummy the attacker. Stupid decision from him.

He looks like he's forcing it whenever he does anything that isn't really really basic at the moment.
Despite what I said earlier about bad decision making holding him back, Depay also lacks killer speed. That's definitely partly why he's struggled in the Premier League and against good opposition. No pace at all and only decent to good acceleration.

What was it about Afellay that used to make him such a wanted man back in the day on A-M or even on here? I find his awkward style really hard to watch and he doesn't seem particularly good at any one thing.
