The more it watch Harry Kane, the more I think; 'wait a moment, maybe this guy is a fucking ace striker after all'.

He doesn't have any star quality but you cannot deny that he has something about him. Feeling quite confident about England's chances in the Euros, reckon mentality this is the best squad they've had in years.

Vardy was the big man up front for me tonight. What an absolute pestilence he is to play against. It feels like he'll have a Milan Baros-esque run of form during the Euros this summer.

Vardy is a super player. Never gives the defence a breather.

Welbz had a good game too.

Only Lallana didn't impress, but he was okay.

It's a shame that it will all fall apart when Rooney comes back in.

Vardy is good. Kane is very good with potential to be excellent. That goal yesterday. If he wasn't a Spurs striker, this place would be going mental.

The worry is Rooney will be forced into the line up which will wreck the attack. Kane, Vardy and Sturridge are all better options. Defence is a bit average though but on the whole this is the most 'exciting' group of players since 2006.

Which probably means a q/f loss on penalties!

How do you rate your chances against the likes of France, Germany, Spain or Italy?

Thought Italy were pretty impressive the other day, missing their spine in Barzagli, Chiellini, Marchisio and others and would have taken Spain apart if it weren't for De Gea playing a blinder.

Just walked right past Coquelin in the pecking order. Coq's yet to get called up (or even get a call from Deschamps, according to himself), and he probably never will. It's a bit unbelievable that we're still banking on him to be the foundation for our midfield.

Yeah England have been pretty poor so far also, this game has a real feeling of a pointless friendly.

Depay's such a tit. Stopped running because a pass to him on the break wasn't perfect and then realised too late that if he'd kept running the wet surface had slowed the ball up enough that he probably could have kept it in.
