Vazquez takes the piss like that in almost every game. Bloke has a sky-high technical roof. He reminds me a little of Özil sometimes. Pastore might be a better comparison actually, especially given his Argentine background and the Palermo connection.

Yeah, I've watched Palermo a few times last season and the guy has serious skill on the ball. His self-confidence is even more impressive, always backs himself to nutmeg another defender after he's already embarrassed three or four players before, that's a skill you're either born with or you're not.

I was surprised when Juventus went for Dybala. He's younger and more of a striker and all, but I thought Vazquez was the one they really wanted from Palermo.

Also that first SSNHD pic reminds me of that "fake football truths" or something thread we had here a while ago - one of the thirteen Ameobi brothers is always loaned out to some shithouse club, but whenever we play Newcastle they are always sitting on their bench. 😆

Reading the article I am even more shocked to find out that real clubs use those stats as well for scouting purposes.

Can't recall Everton ever making any obscure signings that turned out good, although to be fair to them the scouting departments in most European top tier teams, especially in the EPL, are shockingly bad. Clubs that do have decent scouting like Porto or Udine don't rely on some shitty game database but send their own staff/contracted externals to the respective countries to, you know, actually scout players.

What's up with Pep, Gotze and Lewandwoski. He's got Gotze in this false 9 again by the look of it with Lewa on the bench. Loved Lewa's late finish yesterday. Thumping strike. If there is the faintest possibility of getting him, we should give Bayern £35m and be done with it.
