Once upon a time, it was a valid accusation, however, I don't believe it was a problem strictly restricted to Nigeria or Africa.

Yeah. I'm African. This was definitely an issue in the 90s when I was but a seed. However, I think the age cheating issue has been stamped out for the most part now. I also suspect that it was an accusation partly leveled by East and Southern African countries at West African countries because the footballers from that part of the world are just much bigger and stronger
