A bit, yes. With Cech though, I never feel concerned. Even when clear cut chances appear, like the one at the beginning of the Sunderland game, I always feel there is a chance we will get out of jail.

Yup, he does give you a sense of confidence at the back. Unfortunate that we have all these players out at the same time, we were doing really well defensively and getting a number of clean sheets before we started getting all these injuries. He's been stuck trying to reach the all time PL clean sheet record for what seems to be an eternity now.

I personally think that our defense has been crap for the entire season, but we have been riding our luck and getting good defensive results, which has now caught up with us.

And when he comes out play sweeper you don't pop in your pants.

Ce h has been sensational this season. His best season in years too.

We've been giving up one-on-ones vs Cech and getting away with it all season—and it hasn't all been down to the keeper either, we've generally been quite fortunate.

This was happening plenty back when we were recording clean sheets as well.

But his presence does give strikers more to think about.

Presence- Thats the exact word Burnsy, he is big both physically but also psychologically on the pitch.
This is what we want an Arsenal goalie to be, the era of clowns fumblers and nervous nellies we've had since Lehmann is over.

Mertesacker has had a bit to do with that. He really has to be replaced now. If Gabriel isn't up to it then we need to buy a CB. Per is done.
