Yeah, how did we forget the gloves... are they also "not natural"?
Fact is a keeper's game is totally different than all other positions, the nature of what they do involves diving into the mess, where others try to focus all their energy. +goal posts, etc.
Still saying nothing will happen to the game if all keepers were better protected (and I expect it'll happen in the future. Sadly, after something bad happens, which will then have everyone going: "why haven't we done that earlier?").
