Yeah, Lehmann in those seasons had a higher peak than Seaman. He was voted European keeper of the year in 06 when we got to the Champions League final. Bumped Oliver Kahn off the German team too, and Kahn was as unbenchable as they come.
Lehmann was brilliant
My main worry is Cech's agility, but he seems so switched on with regards positioning

You boys have a nice pear shape then do you?
And a neat little push/throw. 😆

Yeah agree with that, IF he can reach those levels and IF he remains uninjured for 3 years well that will be 10M well spent in my book.

Hmm putting unremovable steel pants on Maximus for the season, not a bad idea.
As for Abou Welbeck, he'll need them to stop his legs collapsing.
Those robot costumes will help keep their centre of gravity near their shoulders though Biggs 😉
Only for goalies Dules.
@OptaJoe: 70.6% - Over the last 3 seasons, Asmir Begovic has the 15th best saves/shots ratio. Courtois 71.2% is 14th, while Cech 77.5% is 1st. Change.

I think Cech can reveal some of the tactics Mourinho used against us, An insider, like he mentioned there fixing the little details.
I think anyone who's watched us vs Mourinho knows his tactics. Doesn't mean it'll change how Wenger approaches things.
Wenger already changed his approach playing against Chelsea last season. Cech may give us some additional insight alright.

Cech has still got it. Bloke makes the goal look tiny
Great signing, but most of us already knew that.
If we are going to win the league without improving our strike force, it will come on a basis of a stronger defense/ less goals conceded - and Cech will be instrumental to that.
Hasn't lost a step. He's gonna be our van der Sar.

Thats what we want Dules.
He really shows how dire the standard of our goalkeeping has been in recent years. Members of the Wojciech Szczesny Fan Club should be ashamed of themselves tbh.
boss keeper doing boss things. no surprises there. he will be a big factor in the years to come
Le Boss on Petr Cech… He did well. Maybe he had an influence on the Chelsea players as well because they felt that to score against him they had to score the perfect goal. When you have that sometimes you want to try too hard. It happened especially with Eden Hazard when he had that chance in the box.

This 100%!
Still buzzing with big Pete in goal. The confidence he brings to our backline and doubts he cast into the opposite team attackers' minds cannot be underestimated.
And he knew it all along! Fuckin loved the part he told Per he told him we would win 😆
