OK back on topic - what's Aubameyang's close control like? Is he effective on the ball in traffic against a compact defensive 3rd both in terms of ability to retain possession, and more importantly to run at and beat defenders to make space & create opportunities? If not then he's little more than a hybrid of Walcott & Welbeck, and not the player to lead the line & replace Giroud.
