Unfortunately City do seem to have a bigger strength in depth this time around-

Even without Aguero AND Silva they'd have Bony supported by Yaya, Sterling and KDB (Back in his natural position in case Silva is out)

That's still got a lot of goals in them.

Silva and Aguero are pretty much irreplaceable. No doubt it will affect them.

I think with the depth they have at AM and on the wings they can survive without Silva but obviously any team in the world would miss Aguero.

Think Silva is only out for 3 weeks and Aguero about a month anyway, though Aguero could be more. Not the season long injuries we need.

A month is still long enough out where it will take some time to get used to playing matches again. It took him about 3 weeks at the start of this season to find form, and then he started roughly 4 weeks behind most players in the PL. One can always hope at least!

Yeah I'd happily see City have a good european run. In fact I wouldn't even mind United having a good one given the current coefficient needs. As long as neither win anything. I just want to see Mourinho and Chelsea continue to suffer though.
