I've literally just made a fairly uncontroversial point that the way United and Arsenal raise finances is different from Chelsea and Man City. You're the one who's made it a matter of morals.

I have no issues with Chelsea anymore, unlike City they seem to genuinely be trying to comply with FFP and how they've built themselves up in the past doesn't bother me. It's not about which club you support or resenting others, it's about about how you think all clubs should run themselves, and now it's about following the rules.

Not only had we the chance with Uzmanov to do what Chelsea and Man City have been doing, we even turned down a £100m free money offer from him in exchange for a seat at the board.

I still don't like what Chelsea is doing. The way they stockpile and use young players with the only view to turn a buck still irks me. That they also use their official site to time and again have digs at other clubs is classless as well, and Moron is the icing on that particular cake of loathing.

There's no such thing as free money. That money would have had to come as a rights issues, increasing Usmanov's percentage owned in the club. We would have also figured out how to make proportionally more income, to ensure that the present shareholders are not made worse off by the inflow of funds. In addition to losing their shareholding power, I can see how the board would have considered this when turning down the free money.

Not really, because as Mourinho pointed out Benitez succeeded Di Mateo at Chelsea and Ancelotti at Madrid not him.
He also has a point saying that she should devote her time to keeping Rafa on a diet with home cooked meals rather than commenting on things she knows nothing about because he is a bit of a porker.
