Nah, you're making the assumption that he's baiting Wenger. He isn't, he's just a wanker who hates and is obessed with Wenger and can't contain his feeling towards the great man.
He generally goes off on his rants when Wenger makes (perfectly innocent) remarks in relation to Chelsea, such as a couple of years back when he came out with the specialist in failure remark, it was the same with the voyeur remark too, both were in response to a Wenger observation. Ferguson couldn't stand it either.
Unfortunately Arsene has become a lot more cautious when commenting on other teams, but I was pleased to see him properly hit out at Diego Costa.
