Silva is playing in a better attacking team. Switch the two and I think Ozil would be comfortably recognised as the best. Pair him up with Aguero and you've got one of the all time partnerships in Premier League history in my opinion.

Well based on what the two players have shown for their respective teams, I don't think it's even close.

That's not to say Ozil isn't class, but Silva is a game changer.

Only downside to Silva is he has long periods in the season where he vanishes.

The worrying thing is that city don't seem to be relying on any one player. They're a threat from all over the pitch.

Disagree, there have been times where either of Cazorla or Mata have been comfortably better. At the moment and overall it's probably fair to say Silva has been the best, was hugely talented at Valencia already and added tenacity and more goals to his game under Pellegrini.

Not in the last 2 years there hasn't.

Probably not. But in Cazorla's first year both him and Mata have been clearly better, and in patches later on too. Silva's one big weakness is that when he performs poorly he does it for two or three months.

You are not wrong, but I was saying in a more general sense overall since he joined the league. It's probably not a fair comparison because Cazorla and Mata hasn't played as an exclusive number 10 since that season though.

Again I think Silva has been very consistent over the last couple of years. Cazorla has definitely lost some of his edge and Mata is the height of inconsistency. Ozils pretty inconsistent too. At this point in time Silva is the pick of the bunch.

Harry who? Obvious he was going to be a one season wonder like Marcus Stewart and so many before him.

By the way City's impressive start just goes to show how important it is to end a season well. They have continued their momentum nicely (of course spending again helps too).

I remember when Man Utd had a blistering end to the 2005/2006 season and went on and won the league the following year.

PS: Zuma is Johan Djorou on steroids.
