Gnabry is not even slightly a stupid player, one of the hallmarks of his game is that he plays the percentages very well. In a similar way to Ozil, he makes good decisions the vast majority of the time, sometimes to his own detriment.

He's just not played football for a very long time now. Been through hell on the injury front.

I hate it when commentators make this stupid comment about "he should have had three if you include the penalty that he missed". That fecking penalty came before his two goals, you nitwits. It's my biggest pet hate about football commentary

Think Pulis bottled it here. He put Ricky Lambert on - but played him in some sort of number 10 role and was completely useless. McManaman had the beating of Ivanovic, who looks well past it, and Pulis subs him off. The other player Pulis has who looked to cause trouble, Morrison, was subbed off too.

Can't argue with that. More often than not he's been outstanding. Were we ever seriously linked with him?

Sterling has transformed their left side and allowed Silva to play in his best position, with Kolarov bombing down there. No wonder City can afford to sell their strikers.

Silva's top 10, maybe pushing top 5, but not the best. Not even close.
